Dr. Chibisov was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine on 13 September 1954.
In 1977 he was awarded a Degree with Distinction from Physics and Technology Faculty of Gorkiy Kharkiv State University (KSU).
PhD thesis "The theory of ion cyclotron and drift turbulence radially inhomogeneous rotating plasma." Research advisor was prof. Mikhailenko V.S. (1991).
Doctoral thesis "Instabilities and turbulence of a plasma with ion flows along and across the magnetic field" (2014).
Dr. Chibisov is a lecturer of courses “Differential equations”, “Methods of mathematical physics”, “Probability theory”
