   In 1969, she graduated from the Faculty of Physics at Kharkiv State University, and in 1972, she completed her postgraduate studies at the Department of Solid State Physics at KSU. From 1972 to 1993, she worked at the Department of Solid State Physics at KSU and held positions from junior researcher to leading researcher. In 1979, she defended her PhD thesis on ‘Investigation of surface propagation processes in thin film systems with interacting components’.
Academic titles: Senior Researcher in Solid State Physics, Associate Professor at the Department of Solid State Physics.
From 1993 to the present - Associate Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics.
She was awarded the V. N. Karazin Medal for high achievements in teaching, research and educational work and was awarded the Distinction ‘For Service to Karazin University’.
From 1981 to the present, she has been the Academic Secretary of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics.

Academic work
      Read and is reading special courses: ‘Solid State Physics’, “Physics of Real Crystals”, “Physical Materials Science”, “Mechanical Properties of Real Crystals”, “Diffusion in Solids”, “Physics of the Solid State”, “Physical Properties of Metals and Alloys”, “Defects in Crystals” and conducts laboratory work at special workshops on X-ray structural analysis and physical materials science, supervises bachelor's and master's theses.

 Scientific Activities
   His scientific activities are related to various scientific areas: physics of thin films (electronographic studies), physics of polymeric materials (study of the influence of various factors of cosmic influence on the physical properties of polymeric materials), physics of strength and plasticity (recent research is aimed at studying the laws and mechanisms of relaxation-accommodation processes occurring in two-dimensional polycrystals under plastic deformation). He is the author of more than 190 scientific publications, including 16 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.
