He graduated from the Faculty of Physics, Kharkiv State University in 1983. From 1986 to the present, he has been working at the department of Low Temperature Physics. In 1992 he received the scientific degree of Candidate of Physical and mathematical sciences (the title of the thesis is "The electrical resistance of amorphous ferromagnetic alloys at low temperatures", scientific supervisor - Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, professor Merisov B. O.). In 2017 he received the scientific degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (the title of the thesis is "Coherent dynamics of systems with Josephson junctions", scientific consultant - Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vovk R. V.). Teaches courses "Physics of weakly coupled superconductors", "The theory of superconductivity", "Fundamentals of physics of superconductivity", and a special workshop "Quantum theory of condensed matter" to students of the Faculty of Physics.
Scientific interests - superconductivity, Josephson junctions, hydrogen in metals.
